Frequently Asked Questions...

What is the advantage of taking an online traffic school course?

The main advantage is convenience. No classroom attendance is required and online courses allow you to study at your own pace and on your schedule because you can access the program 24 hours, 7 days a week!

Do I have to take the course on the same computer I used to register for it?

No. You may take the course using any computer with internet access.

Where is the course approved?

Currently, the course is approved in Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Virginia. Additional states are currently in the approval process and will be added soon.

I received a list of approved courses from the court but I don't see TrafficSurvivor.com on the list. Will the court accept my certificate?

TrafficSurvivor.com is an affiliate of I Drive Safely, which is approved by most courts. Therefore, when checking the list of approved courses, look for I Drive Safely or www.idrivesafely.com.  But remember, by registering through TrafficSurvivor.com, you'll receive a 5% discount from the regular course fee!

Can I take the entire course including the final exam online?

Yes, in most cases. However, policies and requirements for home study courses can vary from court to court. Some courts require that the final exam be taken in person at an approved testing site so that the student's identity can be verified while other courts utilize the services of monitoring agencies that require the student to take the final exam on a special website. You will be advised of any special requirements that may apply to you as you proceed with the course.

Do I have to take the entire course at one time?

No. We realize that your time is valuable and you may not be able to take the entire course in one session. You may log on and off as often as is necessary and because the course is not timed, you may study at your own pace.

Oops - I waited until the last minute and I only have a few days left to take a course prior to my court due date. Will I still have time to complete the course?

Yes, if you take advantage of the special mailing options offered to facilitate faster processing of your completion certificate.

What happens after I complete the course?

Policies for completion certificates can vary from court to court and from state to state. In some cases the completion certificate is sent directly to the court while some courts require that the certificate be sent to the student so they can sign the certificate and mail or deliver it personally to the court.

What if I have other questions about the course or require additional assistance?

Live customer support is available 24 hours, 7 days a week to answer any questions you may have concerning the course.
